Melrose High reimagined Lotto’s 50th Anniversary soccer boot as a modern luxury streetwear
silhouette. Over the course of six weeks, every detail was meticulously refined through a close
creative collaboration between Germany-based SUI Customs’ lead designer, Sean, and Melrose
High Creative Director, Daryl Mapp.
The original cleated outsole was replaced with a custom flat blue sole inspired by the heavens
and the sea, embodying the philosophy “As above, so below.
” The transformation elevates the
performance boot into an everyday luxury sneaker while preserving its sporting legacy.
Black pony hair was applied to Lotto’s iconic logo, while the heel was wrapped in rich blue
python leather, introducing a refined balance of texture and craftsmanship. The result is a
